Arthritis Essentials
Delivered and assessed entirely online Arthritis Essentials is a self-paced unit consisting of three modules covering anatomy relevant to the musculoskeletal (MSK) system; the main categories and types of arthritis and related MSK conditions; and best practice treatment strategies.
Each module contains information, graphics and embedded resources, and is followed by a quiz to test your knowledge. At the end there are two case studies to further demonstrate your understanding of the content and its application.

Arthritis & Exercise
The course covers the knowledge elements required to meet the exercise needs of people with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions. The course is comprised of five main topics:
- Misconceptions about arthritis and exercise.
- Exercise indications and contraindications for individuals with arthritis & related musculoskeletal conditions.
- Exercise indications and considerations for specific musculoskeletal structures and joints.
- Exercise indications and considerations for specific musculoskeletal conditions.
- Compliance with individual limitations and with exercise recommendations.
