Exercise of the Month – Knee Exercises

Knee exercises help to reduce stiffness, improve muscle strength and joint range of motion in people who have arthritis. Strengthening the of the quadriceps muscles (front of thigh) has also been linked to reduced symptoms of knee osteoarthritis. There is no one-size-fits-all hand prescription for people with arthritis, but an occupational therapist, physiotherapist or an exercise physiologist can help design a program especially for your knees.
